Perhaps the brand didn’t think that men would find the lower-profile AJ5 appealing, but 2016 sang a different tune as several colorways of the Air Jordan 5 Low have already released and are slated to hit stores soon.
This new colorway of the Air Jordan 5 Low is VERY similar to the Air Jordan 5 Metallic Silver that released with the only main differences being that this is a low-top and features some speckling on the shark teeth on the midsole. The shoe features an all-White leather base upper with Black detailing and Wolf Grey accents throughout. Finishing off the look is an icy translucent outsole.
How comfortable are Air Jordan 5s?
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the Jordan 5, 7.5 in terms of comfort. The Jordan 5 silhouette may be heavy, but they’re extremely soft inside, and the tongue is thick and cushiony. For this reason, I would recommend them for those long days when you’re constantly on your feet.
How do you care for Air Jordan 5s?
The Air Jordan 5 is made from nubuck leather; to keep them clean, I spray them with a sneaker protector before wearing them outside. After wearing them, I remove any dirt using a nubuck brush and return them to their original box, mainly so they don’t get dusty.
